Even if Steve Jobs has expressed his skepticism concerning how useful Flash would be on a mobile device, that didn’t stop Adobe from developing it further. The people that will be the happiest will be the ones using a Motorola Xoom. The new version is a “finished production quality release for Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices and a BETA release for Android 3.0.1+ tablets”, according to the official notes accompanying the download. Another good thing is that the new version promises superior performance on devices using dual-core chips, and there are a few on the market already (and that’s a growing trend).
